1. Employers setup a tax-free Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA) for each retiree (and dependents). The HRA limits are determined annually by the employer. Funds from the HRA can be used to pay Medicare Part B premiums, Medicare Advantage or supplement insurance premiums and co-pays associated with these plans. If desired, funds can be used for any IRS 213d qualifying expense.
2. Senior Educators works with each individual retiree to select appropriate coverage for their healthcare needs. Senior Educators provides a personalized website with each retiree’s available plan options, which can be co-branded to match each employer’s website. All retirees get both electronic and live one-on-one assistance and guidance throughout the process.
3. Our solution is turn-key and requires minimal employer involvement and responsibility. Senior Educators work with each employer’s benefit consultant to design an effective communication strategy. There are limited upfront setup fees and no on-going management expenses.
